Genuine SINOTRUK ZF Transmission Tapered Roller Bearing (0735.303.332)

Genuine SINOTRUK ZF Transmission Tapered Roller Bearing (0735.303.332)

Genuine SINOTRUK ZF Transmission Tapered Roller Bearing (0735.303.332) is a high-precision component engineered to handle the immense combined radial and axial loads generated within the gearbox. As a critical piece of sinotruk spare parts, this bearing is commonly found supporting the intermediate shaft in advanced ZF transmissions, including the Ecosplit (16S series) and TraXon (12TX series) gearboxes used in HOWO and SITRAK trucks.

Installation Notes

Bearing replacement within a transmission requires specialized tools, a clean environment, and adherence to strict manufacturer specifications, particularly regarding preload.
1.Cleanliness is Critical: The transmission must be disassembled in a surgically clean environment. Any dirt or metal shavings introduced during the process will immediately compromise the new bearing’s lifespan.
2.Heating for Installation: Do not use a hammer. The inner ring (cone) should be heated to approximately 80-100°C using an induction heater or oil bath before being slid onto the shaft. This allows for a smooth, non-damaging press fit.
3.Pressing: When installing the outer ring (cup) into the housing, ensure pressing force is applied only to the outer ring itself. Never apply force through the rollers or cage.
4.Preload Adjustment (CRITICAL): Tapered roller bearings require precise adjustment of preload or end-play using shims or adjusting nuts, as specified in the ZF service manual. Incorrect preload is the leading cause of premature bearing failure. Too much preload causes overheating; too much end-play causes shaft deflection and gear misalignment.
5.Lubrication: Apply a light coat of the correct grade of transmission oil to the new bearing before final assembly to prevent “dry start” wear.
