The Genuine SINOTRUK HOWO Diesel Fuel Filter (612600080934) is the final line of defense against the contaminants that can destroy modern high-pressure common rail (HPCR) injection systems. As a non-negotiable component among sinotruk spare parts, this filter is specifically engineered to meet the stringent filtration requirements of Weichai WP10 and WP12 engines, ensuring that only clean, pure diesel reaches the injectors.

Installation Notes
Fuel filter replacement is a routine maintenance task, but proper procedure is essential to avoid introducing air or contaminants into the fuel system.
1.Safety and Preparation: Ensure the engine is off and cool. Place a clean container beneath the filter to catch spilled fuel. Clean the area around the filter head thoroughly.
2.Removal: Use a filter wrench to loosen the old 612600080934 filter. Unscrew it by hand. Crucially, check the filter head to ensure the old rubber gasket was removed and did not stick to the head. A “double gasket” will cause a severe leak.
3.Pre-filling and Lubrication: Pre-fill the new filter with clean diesel fuel before installation. This minimizes the amount of air introduced into the system. Apply a thin film of clean diesel fuel or engine oil to the new rubber gasket.
4.Installation: Screw the new filter onto the head by hand until the gasket makes contact. Then, tighten it an additional 3/4 to 1 full turn. Do not use a wrench to tighten the filter body, as over-tightening can damage the gasket or the filter head.
5.Priming: Use the hand primer pump (if available) to bleed air out of the system until the pump becomes firm. This ensures the high-pressure pump is not run dry.
6.Post-Installation Check: Start the engine and let it idle. Inspect the filter base for any signs of fuel leaks.
